Despite the apparent disastrous nature of this method, it is quite simple. This is one of the things that are easier to show than to explain. For this work, you need a small or medium-size teeth, carpentry half-length, flat and semicircular fingers.
The first phase is the drawing of figures on four faces. Based on the created sketches, a certain shape of the figure is applied to the workpiece, and it shines on the front, rear and side surfaces. The angles between the faces must be flat. At the same stage, the main arrays are divided – for example – diluted hands, right and left legs. The image preview is still generalized. Attempting to round up figures at this stage leads to inevitable mistakes.
Large chisels are used for this work
The second phase is an aspect of eight faces. The resulting square slits are cut by angles, forming four additional faces. Pruning should be done taking into account the future relief of the figure (in the hairy, concave areas the face is already expanding, on the protuberances – already). Axes of the workpiece symmetry lose their significance; they can no longer be restored, but the symmetry of the soybean of itself and of its parts is of great importance. When you draw a personal figure, these axes move along the spine and large bones of the limbs. It is better to apply these lines with a simple pen because it is less dirty and does not penetrate deep into the wood.
At this stage, the position of the figure, its dynamics and plasticity are finally clarified. Small details are not yet available, but artistic design is already clearly visible. Right now you have the opportunity to finally edit the pose and the silhouette of figures, to clarify still unclear moments. Rounding-up and detailed display at this stage is also premature. At this stage, smaller chisels and knives are used.
